FUSE is Neville Brody’s magazine on experimental typography. My then-employer sponsored one of the FUSE conferences, and I edited and co-produced the program booklet. [View program excerpts]
I was heavily involved in every step of the production, and I co-authored the introductory essay. But I’m most proud of my section on San Francisco—an appropriately snooty “Best of” guide for visiting designers.
This program won an AIGA Communication Graphics 20 competition. It was also mounted in a public exhibition at the AIGA national design conference, titled America: Cult and Culture.
